We finally have snow on the ground in the Manistee area - just in time for the new year. Several area runners rang in the new year at the Resolution Run in Ludington on New Year's Eve - congratulations to Kelly Schubert for 1st place in the women's division! Here's some races in the Manistee vicinity to keep you active this winter:
Sub-Zero 5K - Onekama, January 14th
Snowshoe Stampede - Feb. 4th, Manistee National
John Phillips, former Manistee HS track captain, is the president of the triathlon club at Central and would love to have some local support!
