With the start of the 2012 track season just weeks away, a few Chips had the chance to run at the GVSU indoor meet this past weekend, part of the MITS indoor track series. Kelly Schubert got to run in the first elite mile indoor race ever, taking 8th place (5:03) against a field that included 6 of the top 12 times run in the NATION so far this year! The CMU-bound runner also took 2nd in the 3200M run with a PR of 11:03. She will run in the indoor track state finals this weekend at Eastern Michigan.
Junior Courtney Stefanski also turned in some great times, including a PR in the 60M High Hurdles (11.6). Great job runners!
